Country music superstar Wynonna Judd will headline this year’s Back Road Music Festival in Galva.
Festival organizers Tyler and Bethany Glaser and Nik Grafelman announced this year’s festival lineup Monday.
Wynona will headline the Aug. 10 event.
Kicking off the main stage is Collin Raye, who has charted 30 singles on the U.S. country charts – including four number one hits.
Opening for Wynonna will be Tracy Byrd, a country music legend who has charted over 30 hit singles in his career, including 11 additional Top Ten hits.
“Over the past 10 years, we have witnessed tens of thousands of Back Road fans from all over the United States (and beyond) flocking to our small farm town every August,” Tyler Glaser said. “While enjoying great country music, each of you has helped raise well over $200,000 for our local charities. “We cannot thank you enough for helping us to grow this event,” Glaser said. “We thank our festival staff and charity organization volunteers for being irreplaceable and ensuring this event can be pulled off smoothly each year. It’s also been fun watching your kids grow with us.”
The Back Road Music Festival will be held in the Galva Park District. Tickets for the festival will go on sale Friday, Feb. 2, at 8 a.m. and will be available at www.tbrmf.com and the Galva Pharmacy. Tickets are discounted for the first two weeks, so purchase early and save.
Side stage acts will be announced soon, Glaser said.
