Two seats for the Kewanee Park District Board of Commissioners, currently held by Steve Brackett and Jim Heberer, are up for grabs in the Nov. 19 election.
The Kewanee Park District is giving the public notice that candidate petitions will be distributed beginning Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 8 a.m. The petitions can be picked up at the Kewanee Park District office, located at 1095 Cambridge Rd., Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Filing dates are Nov. 12-19. The deadline for submitting a candidate petition for election will be Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m.
