Kewanee’s 2024 road program began Thursday in the southeast corner of the city.
The crews have been doing concrete work on sidewalks in the area.
On Monday and Tuesday they will be milling and doing prep work on streets not surrounding Wethersfield schools.
Those streets will be resurfaced Wednesday.
On Thursday and Friday crews will continue paving those and begin milling and paving the streets around Wethersfield as there is no school on Friday.
A Facebook post from the city on the work schedule concluded, “Please be cautious when crews are in the area.”
