Suenjae K. Ostrowski, 65, of Kewanee, died at 3:29 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2025, in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center.

She was born August 18, 1960, in Kewanee, the daughter of Charles and Sandra (Yelm) Pollock. Survivors include her mother of Florida, her two sons, Richard Pollock of Florida and Joe Pollock of Kewanee, her daughter, Ashley Ostrowski of Kewanee, three brothers; John (Kim) Pollock of Chatham, IL, Charles Pollock Jr. of Victoria and Rock (Shawna) Pollock of Florida, a sister, Tabitha Pollock of Arkansas, granddaughter, Genevieve, cousin, Sheree Yelm of Kewanee and many other cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father.

Suenjae worked as a nurse and had a passion for taking care of people. She also had a love for dogs, especially German Shepherds. Suenjae had the greatest spirit for life.

Cremation will be accorded, and a memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m., Thursday, October 23 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee followed by graveside services at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery. Following the services there will be a celebration gathering at Hill Church in Kewanee beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to her family.
