Kewanee - Ron Price, 77, of Kewanee, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on May 14, 1949, the son of Marvin Price and Sheila (Wyand) Tunnicliff in Kewanee. He graduated from Kewanee High School with the class of 1967. He married Jane Euchaski, together they had a son, Shannon Price, they later divorced. He married Marsha Lee on May 26, 2000, in Kewanee; she preceded him in death on June 14, 2022.

Ron is survived by sister, Patty (Jay) Poulos of Kewanee; daughter-in-law, Donna Price of St. Anne, Illinois; grandchildren, Zachary (Madison) Fox of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Morgan Price of Bolingbrook, Illinois, and Mallory (Matthew Wolfram) Price of Homer Glen, Illinois; and great grandchildren, Weston Wolfram, Kynlee Grace Fox, Raylan Fox, and Sadie Fox. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marsha Price; a son, Shannon Price; and a brother, Ed Price.

Ron worked as a driver for Ratliff Brothers in Kewanee. Ron enjoyed spending his time outdoors by racing vintage go-karts, shooting bow and arrow in competitions, building RC model airplanes, snowmobiling, and tinkering on anything he could get his hands on. Ron especially enjoyed fishing with his great friends Leo Finin and Gene Lang.

A visitation will be held 10 a.m. – noon, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Golnick Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Kewanee. The funeral service will be at noon at the funeral home. Pastor John Reside will officiate. Burial will take place in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Henry County Senior Citizens Center, Kewanee.
