Robert “Bob” Ouart, 59, passed away on March 21, 2025, in Lewisville, Texas after an extended illness.

Born April 28, 1965, Bob grew up in Neponset and Kewanee. After graduating Kewanee High School, he earned an Automotive Degree from Lincoln Tech in Des Moines, Iowa, then built a successful career in the automotive industry, holding management positions at Goodyear and AutoZone. While working at Goodyear, Bob was proud to receive an invitation and thrilled at the opportunity to ride in the Goodyear Blimp.

In addition to his passion for cooking, Bob had a deep love of history and was an avid reader who enjoyed expanding his knowledge.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Regina, as well as his parents, Betty and George Ouart. He is survived by his brother Tim (Josie) of Sheffield; sisters Angie (Glen) Stanton of Murrells Inlet, SC; Jenny Schroeder of Kewanee; and Bonnie (Steve) Spahn of Kewanee.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a private service will be held at a later date. Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Memorials may be directed to the Neponset Historical Society.
