Robert "Bob" Allen Brown began life in Ohio, the first born to Robert and Rose (Yurko) Brown, and ended his journey in Illinois.

He grew up in Brooklyn Heights and carried treasured memories of that time throughout his life. In his twenties, he was in a life altering car accident that led to major surgery, many weeks in a coma and having to relearn everything.

Bob succeeded and went on to become a respiratory therapist in the Cleveland hospitals. While working he met Nancy, who he later married. Together, they made music and two children, Dawn and Brice.

Robert retired to West Virginia, where he enjoyed life with his church family, then moved to Illinois to be closer to Dawn and family. He enjoyed precious times with his grandchildren, singing in the church choir, band concerts, swim classes and eating out.

At his request, no services will be held. Memorial donations can be made to Colliers UMC in

Colliers, West Virginia and Kewanee FUMC in Kewanee, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
