In Loving Memory of Richard Lee Downard
Richard Lee Downard, a devoted father, friend, and man of faith, passed away on November 26, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Ill., at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving daughters.
In Kewanee, Ill., Richard lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to his family. He was a faithful servant of God, and his strong belief in the Lord was the foundation of his life.
Richard is survived by his two daughters, Stacy McDaniel and Jesse Downard, who were by his side when he passed.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on.

My heart still breaks over this. Rick was the best friend and neighbor as well as a brilliant minded man who could fix anything! He was a simple and kind soul and he will never be forgotten. He left us all with many wonderful memories to cherish. You two daughters were his most cherished loves!! So very sorry for your loss.🙏🏼
