t is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael Dean Shroyer on July 15, 2025.

Michael was born October 30th, 1964, in Kewanee IL, to Howard Shroyer and Kathryn (Williams) Shroyer. Michael graduated from Wethersfield Elementary School before moving to Homewood, IL where he attended H-F High School.

Preceded in death by his father, Howard Shroyer. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn (Willaims Shroyer, his cherished daughters: Shasta Shroyer, Brielle Salyer (Patrick), and Caylie Bleuer (Nick). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Kaden Shroyer, Zachary Maglione, Tegan Bleuer, Easton Bleuer, Warren Salyer, Russell Salyer, and Autumn Salyer.

He is also survived by his sister Kim Nolen and his brother Mark Shroyer (Linda), his niece Stefanie Nolen, and nephews Kyle Shroyer, Lucas Shroyer and Matthew Nolen, and his two great nephews, Campbell and Theo.

Michael will be remembered for his, kind heart, carefree living, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at Channahon Methodist Church, Channahon, IL October 19th from 12:00pm-1:30pm followed by a short service. Friends are invited to gather with family to share memories and honor his legacy.
