Linda S. Hall, 70, of Kewanee, Ill., passed away at 3:56 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center in Galesburg.

She was born on April 24, 1956, in Kewanee, Ill., the daughter of James and Betty (Marsh) Bayer. She married Gregg A. Hall on Oct. 1, 1977, in Wyoming, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2010. Survivors include her three daughters; Diana (Dan) DeSmit of Kewanee, Ill., Laura Hall and her significant other, Josh of Madison, Wisc., and Pam (Adam) Seif. of Stoughton, Wisc., five grandchildren; Brooklyn Stabler, Adrienne DeSmit, Katelyn DeSmit, Evelyn Seif and Aiden Seif. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Angie.

Linda graduated from Wyoming High School and obtained her associates degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She was the office manager and bookkeeper for Ordaz Construction in Peoria for over 30 years. She was an active and longtime member at St. Peter’s Evangelical Church UCC in Kewanee, Ill. where she was an elder and president of the church council. She found enjoyment in caring for plants, spending time outdoors, putting together puzzles and painting.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21 at St. Peter’s Evangelical Church UCC. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. The burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter’s Evangelical Church UCC. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is assisting the family with arrangements.
