Caroline A. Blank, 82, of Kewanee, died at 3:39 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Arcadia Care at Kewanee.

She was born on February 18, 1943, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of William “Bill” and Neva (Ripka) Witte. She married Wayne A. Blank on May 2, 1970. Survivors include her husband of Kewanee, her son, Paul Willis of New Orleans, LA, two brothers, Art (Jan) Witte of Toulon and Carl Witte of Kewanee and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Caroline graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1961. She had operated Strings & Things Craft Store with her mother Neva. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and loved attending church and served as a Sunday School teacher and was currently the president of the church council. She had been a member of the Garden Club and the Kewanee Area Community Choir. Caroline served for several years on the board of Friends of Ryan’s Round Barn. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed flower gardening. She especially cherished the time spent with her husband and son.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 19 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Linnea Gustafson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. The burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in rural Kewanee. Memorials may be directed to Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
