Bonnie Jean Calhoun, 86, of Davenport, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2025.

A funeral service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Coram Deo Bible Church, Davenport. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Wethersfield Cemetery in Kewanee, Illinois.

Bonnie was born August 11, 1938, in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter of Garnet and Magnolia (Sturgeon) Greene. She married Terry Calhoun on August 4, 1957, in Kewanee; they later divorced.

Bonnie was an active member of the Friendly House, C.A.S.I., and First Baptist Church of Bettendorf. Her Christian faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She found immense joy in following the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie also enjoyed playing bingo, attending concerts, and cheering on her beloved Chicago Cubs.

She is survived by her daughters, Teri (Will) Taylor of Bettendorf and Tami (Mark Callan) Harmon of Bettendorf; grandchildren, Richard (Sydney) Stubblefield of Camanche, IA, David (Claudia) Stubblefield of Spring Valley, IL, Dominick J. Harmon of Davenport, and Lucas (Sydni) Harmon of Davenport; and great-grandchildren, Gabby Stubblefield of Camanche, IA, Tommy Harmon of Davenport, IA, and Jeremiah, Aliyah, Adele, and Theo.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Darlene Hardt, Esther Bumphrey, and Ruby Wolf.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to St. Croix Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided Bonnie in her final months.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Bettendorf, or St. Croix Hospice in Davenport, Iowa.
