My wife Andrea was a deeply spiritual lady, virtuous Christian woman, fantastic home-maker, delightful companion, and loyal ally for me. She was loved greatly and I will always cherish the wonderful memories of our 21 years together. Valedictorian, class president, prom queen, Andrea was totally unique and very special. Easy to love and live with, she had a heart overflowing with sweetness, patience, and genuine goodness. Her kindness was treasured as a divine gift. Andrea was raised on a farm and had a superior work ethic. She used to sing or hum contentedly from room to room in our home. Her presence was soothing and inspiring. We enjoyed listening to Christian radio sermons every night and she loved reading her Bible and devout books by David Jeremiah, Erwin Lutzer, and other evangelical authors. She was a Chicago Bears fan and liked watching Downton Abby, HGTV, History channel, and TV game shows. Never worrying or complaining, Andrea was raking leaves, tending her gardens, shopping, cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry and other household chores up until the last 2 months of her life. I called my perfect wife and it was no joke. "God is in control" was her frequent remark, even when she had only a few days left to live. I was extremely blessed to know her and have her as my dearly beloved wife and best friend.

My sympathy is extended to all of Andrea's loved ones. As a young girl I remember Andrea as a nice person with a big smile . She was kind to the younger children, like me, who rode the school bus to Neponset. I have fond memories of her.
