NEPONSET - Alan O. Kaiser, 82, of Neponset, passed away at 2:45 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 10 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Pastor David Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at Floral Hill Cemetery in Neponset. Memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Baptist Church. A meal will be served at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

He was born on May 3, 1942, in Kewanee, the son of Hayden and Ina (Swearingen) Kaiser. He graduated from Neponset High School in 1960. He worked for International Harvester, which eventually was J.I. Case when he retired in 1992 following 31 years of service. After he retired, he worked for several farmers in the Neponset area. He also worked as a snowbird for the State of Illinois, Redi-Mix, Ag View and the Village of Neponset.

Alan married Janice L. Kimberling on June 24, 1961. They were married for 63 years, and they loved each other very much. They served God together at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Janice, his son, Troy (Janelle) Kaiser of Neponset, his three daughters, Melissa (Zach) Banks of Silvis, Raquel (Ray) Brown of Neponset and Deborah (Keith) Gustaitis of Kewanee, twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, a sister, Mary (Russ) Johnson of Rock Island and two brothers, Keith (Luci) Kaiser of Neponset and Randy (Lynette) Kaiser of Peru. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nancy Kaiser and a brother, Stanley Kaiser.

Alan loved God and his church, Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He loved his family very much and would do anything for them. His passions were fishing, gardening and hunting. He was a great cook and was an amazing provider. He will be loved forever and missed always.
