This citywide event, running from May 1 to 3, promises to be an exciting adventure for residents who love bargain hunting, making extra cash or simply celebrating community spirit.
Here’s the deal: The sale kicks off Thursday and runs through Saturday, but residents get to choose their own adventure! Advertising is a breeze! For a $20 donation, participants can feature their yard sale in The Kewanee Voice Classifieds section. This includes:
What’s more? Your sale gets prime visibility on a printable map published on The Kewanee Voice website—and listed yard sales come with a free yard sign to attract customers while supplies last.
Ads can be submitted to The Kewanee Voice office at 121 N. Tremont St., Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Questions? Call 309-489-2721. The deadline for accepting ads for addresses that will be included on the map is April 25, so get your ad turned in soon.

Saturday marks the grand finale of the yard sale extravaganza with mouthwatering food trucks rolling into town. Confirmed vendors include Gibler’s, Top That, Uncle Bud’s Apple Cider Slush, Azteca, and D’Freeze, offering everything from sizzling street eats to refreshing treats.
