Kewanee weekend police blotter for Oct. 24-26

Friday:

Brad T. Wyatt, 45, East Moline, was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop at Division and East streets. He was given a notice to appear. Dybreona K. Pollard, 32, Davenport, Iowa, was arrested on a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear for no valid driver’s license. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A traffic accident involving a vehicle operated by Cameron Verstraete, 22, Kewanee, that struck a parked and unattended vehicle owned by Nicholas Brown, 42, Kewanee, was reported in the 200 block of Beach Street South. No injuries or citations were reported.

Ashley J. Ouart, 36, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a domestic disturbance complaint in the 900 block of Tenney Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail. David W. Phillips, 41, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery, possession of methamphetamine and a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal was impounded in the 200 block of Fischer Avenue.

A traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Brooke A. Downard, 32, Galva, that struck a vehicle driven by Michael J. Sosa, 42, Kewanee, was reported at Oak and Tremont streets. Downard was cited for failure to yield at intersection. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 200 block of North Main Street.

An animal at large was reported at Page Street and Ridge Avenue.

Police responded to a report of a barking dog on Lyle Street.

Police responded to a report of theft at Elm and Lyle streets.

William H. Huggins, 24, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of battery in the 200 block of Community Square. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East College Street.

Ariel L. Rankins, 34, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding (46/35) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Main Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Sara A. Metscaviz, 42, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding (41/30) following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Ridyard Avenue.

Aaliyah N. Rupp, 20, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding (40/30) following a traffic stop at Church and Hollis streets. She was given a notice to appear.

Lezerick C. Johnson, 29, Kewanee, was issued a citation for no lights when required following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Lakeview Avenue.

Jonathan N. Israel, 20, Kewanee, was issued a citation for driving the wrong direction on a one-way following a traffic stop on Prospect Place. He was given a notice to appear.

Tiffany Spiker, 34, Kewanee, was arrested for DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of adult-use cannabis in vehicle, failure to stop exiting private drive and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at Fifth and East streets. She was given a notice to appear. Anastasia Russel, 27, Kewanee, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of adult-use cannabis in vehicle. She was given a notice to appear.

Saturday:

Police responded to a report of retail theft in the 400 block of East Second Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of Williams Street.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 800 block of Sunset Drive.

An animal was impounded in the 800 block of Lake Street.

Jose E. Ramirez Avila, 30, Galesburg, was arrested on a valid Knox County warrant for failure to appear for reckless driving following a traffic stop at June and May streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of Cambridge Road.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 600 block of Park Avenue.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 500 block of Willard Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 100 block of Sherman Street.

Sunday:

William A. Keller, 25, Kewanee, was arrested in the 400 block of East Third Street for failure to register as a sex offender. He was given a notice to appear.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of North East Street. It was taken to the impound.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of South Grove Street. It was taken to the impound.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of East Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 200 block of North Burr Boulevard.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of South Tremont Street. It was taken to the impound.

A 13-year-old male was issued a notice to appear for aggravated assault following a report of a disturbance at Division and Morton streets.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 600 block of South Main Street.

A hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 600 block of South Main Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

Brackel P. Keel, 29, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for false report to public safety following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of East Seventh Street. She was also charged with aggravated battery to an officer and aggravated assault. Keel was transported to the Henry County Jail.
