Kewanee weekend police blotter for March 15-17

Friday:

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 500 block of West Central Boulevard.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of South Cottage Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

Jan D. Mabalcon, 42, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of domestic battery in the 100 block of Payson Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

Brittanie Smith-Beasley, 30, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for causing a child to be endangered following a traffic stop at Third and Tremont streets. No bond was posted and she was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 500 block of Elliott Street.

Police responded to a report of retail theft in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 100 block of Hope Way.

A 17-year-old male was arrested for a Henry County Juvenile warrant for failure to appear for truant following an in-state warrant at Sixth and Main streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Saturday:

Gage A. Jones, 26, Wilmington, Ohio, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Fredrick Teeslink, 48, Kewanee, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and possession of a controlled substance following a 9-1-1 wireless call in the 300 block of West Mill Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Marcus J. Taylor, 38, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for criminal trespass, retail theft and possession of meth following a report of a mental patient in the 400 block of East Third Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal at large was impounded in the 1000 block of West South Street.

Police responded to a report of theft under $500 in the 400 block of South Main Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of East Prospect Street.

An animal at large was reported at Cole and Lake streets.

Police responded to a report of damage to property in the 100 block of East South Street.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 500 block of Odea Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of East Fourth Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Helmer Street.

Sunday:

Alexis M. Guerrero, 26, Kewanee, was arrested for DUI A1, A2, and speeding (50/30) following a traffic stop at Fischer and Lake streets. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Maple Avenue.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 400 block of East Prospect Street.

An animal at large was impounded at Elm and Oak streets.

A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Lela J. Heene, 91, Kewanee, and Rina M. Martinez Bates, 42, Galva, was reported in the 400 block of Tenney Street. Heene was taken by Kewanee Fire EMS to OSF St. Luke Hospital and issued a citation for disobeying traffic control device. She was given a notice to appear.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 400 block of North Adams Street.

Robin K. Freeman, 57, Kewanee, was arrested for battery following a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls at Fourth Street and Lexington Avenue. Freeman was given a notice to appear. Wanda S. Talley, 63, Kewanee, was arrested for battery. She was given a notice to appear.
