Kewanee weekend police blotter for June 6-8

Friday:

Jaxon L. Hicks, 20, Kewanee, was issued a citation for speeding (49/30) following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of West Sixth Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 200 block of South Tremont Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of United Lane.

Duane K. Quanstrom, 86, Kewanee, was arrested for violation of order of protection following a report of violation of order of protection in the 700 block of East Second Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Eric W. Cuyler, 59, Kewanee, and Patricia E. Wohl, 81, Peoria, was reported at South and Tenney streets. Cuyler was arrested for DUI, texting while driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid accident and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace at Fairview Homes.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of West Oak Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Ninth Street.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 100 block of East Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of West Central Boulevard.

Saturday:

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of North High Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 200 block of Community Square.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of Cole Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, public indecency at Central Boulevard and Tremont Street.

An animal at large was reported at Baker Park.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of South Elm Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace at Windmont Park.

An animal was impounded on Rose Street.

Disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace was reported in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Tamara S. Ramsey, 64, Kewanee, was arrested for a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for criminal trespass to a property with a person present following a report of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Henry Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Sunday:

A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles operated by Teresa Savage, 61, Galva, and Jocelyn Martinez, 24, Kewanee, was reported in the 400 block of Tenney Street. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of Dwight Street.

An animal was impounded in the 200 block of Dwight Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace was reported in the 100 block of South Burr Boulevard.
