Kewanee weekend police blotter for Dec. 8-10

Friday:

Michael K. Gustafson, 29, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop at Third and Chestnut streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Jacob T. Boss, 38, Kewanee, was arrested for criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property, aggravated fleeing, reckless driving, improper lane usage, operating a vehicle without evidence of registration, no lights when required, and operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop at Ninth Street and Simpson Avenue. He was given a notice to appear.

Alexxis M. Meier, 27, Kewanee, was arrested for a Henry County warrant for probation violation following an in-state warrant in the 1000 block of West South Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of West Oak Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Vine Street.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of North Boss Street.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Ross Street.

Saturday:

Police responded to a report of assault in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 400 block of East South Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 100 block of East Seventh Street.

Police received a report of an unknown vehicle striking a parked and unattended vehicle owned by James Vandierendonck, 54, Kewanee, in the 700 block of Morton Avenue.

Crystal M. Thornton, 44, Kewanee, was arrested for theft over $500 following a report of theft over $500 in the 500 block of South Vine Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of domestic battery in the 200 block of East Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Beach Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 500 block of West Fifth Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 600 block of Cole Street.

Sunday:

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 200 block of North East Street.

Dimitrious C. Fields, 49, Rock Island, was arrested for resisting arrest, aggravated DUI revoked drivers license, aggravated DUI no insurance, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, DUI alcohol, and no turn signal following a traffic stop at Pleasant Street and Ridyard Avenue. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of criminal trespass to residence in the 1100 block of Roseview Avenue.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of North Grove Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Division Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 1300 block of North Main Street.

An animal was impounded in the 200 block of East Garfield Street.

A vehicle driven by Carol A. Hankins, 73, Kewanee, struck a parked vehicle owned by Edward K. Coble, 73, Kewanee, following a traffic accident in the 800 block of Tenney Street. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
