Kewanee weekend police blotter for August 16-18

Friday:

An animal was impounded in the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of South Tremont Street.

Police responded to a report of a traffic complaint, school bus stop arm violation in the 200 block of East Central Boulevard.

Kathleen M. Picklesimer, 41, Kewanee, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large following a complaint of an animal at large in the 400 block of Rockwell Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Michael D. Guerrero, 32, Kewanee, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Houle Avenue. No bond was posted. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of June Street.

Police responded to a report of reckless driving at Dwight and McClure streets.

Saturday:

Two 17-year-old males were issued notices to appear for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor following a traffic complaint on Willard Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 300 block of Freedom Lane.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 100 block Fairview Junction.

Joseph L. Johnston, 53, Kewanee, was arrested for an IDOC warrant for failure to appear annually following an in-state warrant in the 100 block of East Seventh Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 1100 block of North Main Street.

A traffic accident was reported in the 400 block of East South Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of East Seventh Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of Wilsey Court.

Police responded to a report of obstruction of public right of way in the 700 block of South Main Street.

Sunday:

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 200 block of East Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of retail theft in the 200 block of North East Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of West Prospect Street.

An animal at large was reported at Fairview Homes.

An animal at large was reported at Chestnut and Elliott streets.

Police responded to a report of theft over $500 in the 300 block of South Grove Street.
