Kewanee police blotter for Sept. 17

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 800 block of Florence Street.

Police responded to a complaint of theft in the 100 block of North Tremont Street.

Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 200 block of West Church Street.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of West First Street.

An animal was impounded in the 1200 block of Lake Street.

A vehicle driven by Joshua A. Vanstaden, 43, Kewanee, was struck by an unknown vehicle in a hit and run accident at Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 200 block of South Tremont Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 100 block of West McClure Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of Lakeland Terrace.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of North Vine Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Hope Way.

A vehicle driven by James R. Stuckey, 54, Kewanee, struck a pole at Beach and Prospect streets. No injuries were reported. Stuckey was arrested for driving on sidewalk, DUI A2, leaving the scene of a crash with vehicle damage, failure to give info after striking unattended property, failure to report crash to police authority and failure to reduce speed to avoid accident. He was given a notice to appear.

Scott A. Peed, 42, Kewanee, was arrested for criminal trespass to property following a report of criminal trespass to real property in the 100 block of West South Street. He was given a notice to appear.
