Kewanee police blotter for Oct. 8

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Henry Street.

Christopher K. Riojas, 34, Kewanee, was issued citations for operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance following a traffic stop at Ninth Street and Grace Avenue. He was given a notice to appear.

Devante J. Trim, 30, Kewanee, turned himself in on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 600 block of Tenney Street.

Desiree M. Ryder, 41, Kewanee, was arrested for retail theft following a theft complaint in the 600 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.

An animal was impounded in the 500 block of East Street South.

Police responded to a report of battery in the 400 block of East Ninth Street.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect at Maple Avenue and Pleasant Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, electronic communications in the 11400 block of 105 East Street in Neponset.
