Kewanee police blotter for Oct. 4-5

Wednesday:

Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 1000 block of West South Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Franklin and Prospect streets.

An animal at large was impounded in the 600 block of East Fifth Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at East Prospect Street and Ridyard Avenue.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Division and Poplar streets.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Boss and Rose street.

William S. Withrow, 58, Kewanee, was arrested for a Rock Island warrant for failure to appear for theft following a report of illegal burning in the 700 block of East Fourth Street. He posted bond and was released. He was also arrested for obstructing justice and resisting a peace officer. He was given a notice to appear.

Thursday:

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Main Street and McKinley Avenue.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of East Third Street.

Andrea R. Peach, 35, Kewanee, was arrested for criminal trespass to state-supported land following a report to assist a school at Fairview Home. She was given a notice to appear.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Fourth Street.

Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

An animal at large was reported at Cambridge Road and Golden Avenue.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of West Central Boulevard.
