Romaro L. Houston, 36, Kewanee, was issued citations for illegal transportation of alcohol by the driver and possession of adult-use cannabis in motor vehicle following a traffic stop at Eighth and Elm streets. He was given a notice to appear.
A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Connor E. Vervynck, 24, Galva, and Justine L. Ince, 36, Kewanee, was reported at Third and East streets. No injuries were reported. Vervynck was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was given a notice to appear.

Jose L. Contreras, 29, Kewanee, was arrested in the 300 block of East Central Boulevard for failure to register as a sex offender. He was given a notice to appear.
