Kewanee police blotter for Nov. 7

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of North Boss Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of South Elm Street.

A hit and run accident involving an unknown vehicle that struck a parked vehicle owned by Carlee Bos, 49, Moline, was reported in the 900 block of North Chestnut Street.

A traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Sheila Yepson, 68, Sheffield, that struck vehicles driven by Isabelle L. Urquiza, 55, Kewanee, and Janet L. Howard, 83, Kewanee, was reported at Prospect and Tremont streets. One driver was taken to hospital by EMS. Yepson was cited for failure to yield right of way.

An animal was impounded in the 800 block of North Main Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 200 block of South Tremont Street.

Roberto Martinez, 42, Kewanee, was arrested for arson, attempted murder, burglary, aggravated fleeing and eluding, disobeying traffic control device x3, speeding 50 in a 30 mph zone, reckless driving, criminal damage to state supported property, and criminal damage to property following a report of residential arson in the 600 block of East Sixth Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Jackson Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 100 block of West South Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone threat in the 1000 block of West South Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble at Fourth and Park streets.
