A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Nora G. Pinnick, 91, Kewanee, and Frederic V. Jackson, 68, Peoria, was reported in the 700 block of Tenney Street. Jackson was taken to OSF St. Luke by Kewanee Fire EMS. Pinnick was cited for failure to yield right-of-way. She was given a notice to appear.

Holton, 19, Kewanee, was arrested for resisting a peace officer, threatening a public official, and a Stark County warrant for failure to appear for unlawful possession of cannabis following a disturbance complaint in the 200 block of East South Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.
