Kewanee police blotter for Nov. 13

Matthew A. Simpkins, 40, Peoria, was arrested for attempted burglary, criminal trespass to motor vehicle and disorderly conduct following a report of suspicious activity in the 500 block of East Mill Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Lilibet Rodriguez-Serrano, 31, Kewanee, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Julley A. Bliss, 50, Kewanee, was arrested for aggravated battery to a child under the age of 13 and endangering the life and health of a child following a report of aggravated battery in the 500 block of Rockwell Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal at large was reported at Elm and Prospect streets.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of Roseview Avenue.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Elmwood Avenue.

A vehicle driven by Kelly L. Duytschaver, 40, Kewanee, struck a deer on West Eleventh Street. No injuries were reported.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 600 block of East Second Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Lake Street.

Frederick W. Teeslink, 48, Neponset, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle and given a notice to appear for violating sex offender registry following a traffic stop at Florence and Lake streets.

Macayla A. Bessert, 22, Kewanee, was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle and a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for no insurance and expired registration following a traffic stop at Second Street and Lexington Avenue. She was unable to post bond and transported to the Henry County Jail.
