Kewanee police blotter for March 4

Police were called to remove an unwanted subject from the 500 block of North Main Street.

A traffic complaint was made in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

An animal running at large was reported at Lakeland Terrace.

Police were called to check an open door in the 100 block of South Burr Boulevard.

Battery was reported in the 200 block of East Central Boulevard.

An animal at large was reported in the 500 block of West Central Boulevard.

A probation-home visit was made in the 100 block of Lakeland Terrace.

Paula J. Hulslander, 53, Neponset, was arrested for retail theft after police were called to the 700 block of Tenney Street on a complaint of theft and the presence of a banned subject. Hulslander was issued a notice to appear in court.

Police attempted to serve a warrant in the 200 block of East Central Boulevard.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance, battery complaint in the 700 block of South Main Street.

Destiny L. Bindenagel, 26, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery and taken to the Henry County Jail after police were called to the 1800 block of Lake Street on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Theft was reported in the 600 block of East Church Street.

Ashlea L. Shambaugh, 39, Kewanee, was arrested for endangering the life or health of a child and issued a notice to appear in court after police responded to a report of family-related child abandonment at Chestnut and Prospect streets.

A report of cannabis delivery to a person under 18 was made in the 1000 block of Terry Avenue.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 900 block of North Tremont Street.

A complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment was made in the 200 block of Community Square.

A vehicle operated by a 17-year-old female struck a parked vehicle owned by Mark E. Helmkamp, 70, Kewanee, at Prospect and Vine streets. No injuries or citations were reported.

A civil complaint was made in the 1000 block of Terry Avenue.
