A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Amanda Mallery, 31, Kewanee, and Skylar Deakin, 19, Monmouth, was reported in the 300 block of South Main Street. No injuries were reported. A citation was issued to Mallery for operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to yield at intersection. Mallery was given a notice to appear.
Demetrius Lucas, 33, Kewanee, was arrested for theft, burglary, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to state-supported land following a report of theft at Fairview Home. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.
