Kewanee police blotter for June 22

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 100 block of Hope Way.

Carlos R. Morales Cruz, 33, Kewanee, was cited for driving while license is suspended following a traffic stop at South East Street and McKinley Avenue. He was given a notice to appear.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Fifth Avenue and Prospect Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Mill Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 500 block of East Mill Street.

Theft over $500 was reported in the 200 block of Rice Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of West Oak Street.

George G. Bennison, 65, West Peoria, was arrested for driving while license is revoked following a traffic stop at Cottage and Prospect streets. He was given a notice to appear.

A damage-only accident was reported involving vehicles driven by Zachary T. Campbell, 31, Kewanee, and Tina M. Bengston, 32, Kewanee, at Second and Elm streets. No citations were issued or injuries were reported.

An animal was impounded in the 200 block of East Church Street.

A hit and run accident was reported at Sixth and Chestnut streets.

Sara L. Brimhall, 31, Kewanee, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration following a traffic stop at Fifth and West Prospect streets. She was given a notice to appear.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Oak Street.

Jason J. Egan, 42, Annawan, was cited for speeding (48/30) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Ulises J. Alcazar, 21, Kewanee, was arrested for possession of cannabis (30-100 grams) and possession of cannabis (30-500 grams) with intent to deliver. He was given a notice to appear. Anthony D. Lopez, 25, Kewanee, was arrested on a valid Henry County warrant for failure to appear on two counts of no driver’s license and two counts of no insurance following a traffic stop at Florence Street and Railroad Avenue. He was unable to post bond and transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 200 block of Tenney Street.

Cortney A. Johnson, 19, Galva, cited for speeding (45/30) following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Roy G. Dunn Jr., 35, Kewanee, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a traffic stop at South Elm and East Prospect streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at Main Street and McKinley Avenue.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 700 block of South Main Street.

Trevon A. Haywood, 20, Kewanee, was cited for driving with no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at Church and Miner streets. He was given a notice to appear.
