Kewanee police blotter for June 20

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at Central Boulevard and Burr boulevards.

An animal was impounded at Lakeland Terrace.

Police responded to a report of a traffic accident at Burlington Avenue and West Prospect Street. Unknown injuries were reported.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 1000 block of Cambridge Road.

Nikole L. Walters, 36, Kewanee, was arrested for speeding (46/30) and a Tazewell County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop at Lyle and South Main streets. She posted bond and was released with a notice to appear.

David L. Jones, 57, Kewanee, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with suspended registration following a traffic stop at Houle Avenue and Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Amanda C. Knaak, 38, Metamora, was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with suspended registration following a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Christopher Ocampo, 35, Kewanee, was issued citations for no insurance and speeding (48/30) following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Central Boulevard. He was given a notice to appear.

Joseph T. Harris, 49, Kewanee, was issued a notice to appear for disorderly conduct following a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 500 block of East Third Street.

Justin M. Kirchner, 21, Annawan, was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.
