Kewanee police blotter for June 12

An animal was impounded in the 300 block of South Main Street.

An animal at large was reported at Church and Tenney streets.

Latoya Blackmond, 43, Galesburg, was issued a citation for speeding (57/40) following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North East Street. She was given a notice to appear.

An animal at large was reported in the 500 block of Whitney Avenue.

Police responded to a omplaint of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls at Seventh and Elm streets.

Sherry S. Edens, 46, Kewanee, was arrested for theft following a complaint of theft under $500 in the 400 block of South Park Street. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 300 block of South Cottage Street.

Jose A. Luna Hernandez, 33, Plainfield, was arrested on a LaSalle County warrant for failure to appear for DUI following a request for a motorist assist in the 600 block of South Main Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a complaint of criminal damage to property at Sixth and Walnut streets.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 1000 block of North Main Street.

Hector A. Lozano, 36, Kewanee, was arrested for driving on a suspended/revoked license and a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for driving on a suspended/revoked license following a traffic stop in the 500 block of North Main Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Pleasant Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Pleasant Street.

Alexis J. Green, 32, Colona, was arrested on a Rock Island County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Tenney Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.
