A fight was reported in the 400 block of East Second Street. Officers resolved the situation with no arrests.
A complaint of animal neglect was handled in the 700 block of South Washington Street.
Police were called to the 100 block of South Tremont Street on a disorderly conduct complaint. No arrests were reported.
An accident involving vehicles driven by Colleen E. Lewis, 83, of Kewanee, and a 16-year-old girl was reported in the 600 block of South Tremont Street. Lewis was coxed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. No injuries were reported.

A retail theft was reported in the 200 block of North East Street.

Omar Ramos Zapata, 44, of Kewanee, was cited for no valid driver’s license after a traffic stop at Lake and Monroe streets.

Officers handled a disturbance reported in the 700 block of Florence Street. No arrests were reported.
Illegal burning was reported in the 400 block of Elliott Street.
James A. Welch, 68, of Kewanee, was charged with domestic battery after police were called to the 500 block of West Prospect Street.
Officers responded to a fireworks complaint in the 200 block of South Maple Avenue. No charges were filed.
Jonathan R. Santiago, 31, of Kewanee, was cited for illegal burning on Union Street.
Sunday, July 9
Tiffiny J. Hallman, 45, of Kewanee, was cited for criminal trespass to state-supported property at Fairview Apartments, and was issued a notice to appear.
A loud-noise complaint was handled in the 200 block of North Park Street.
Angela M. Staley, 43, of Kewanee, was cited for driving under the influence, disobeying a traffic control device and improper lane usage after a traffic stop in the 200 block of East Second Street. She posted bond.
Animal abuse was reported in the 1300 block of West Prospect Street.
A domestic dispute was resolved in the 300 block of South Tremont Street.
Criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of Morton Avenue.
Police settled a fireworks complaint in the 800 block of Lake Street.
Shavali Jaswal, 49, of Atkinson, was ticketed for speeding 45 mph in a 30 zone after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of North Main Street.
Angela Gaitan, 63, of Kewanee, was ticketed for speeding 45 mph in a 30 zone after a traffic stop in the 500 block of North Main Street.
Eleanor M. Joyce, 18, of Kewanee, was cited for speeding 48 mph in a 30 zone after a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Main Street.
Christopher J. Young, 35, of Kewanee, was cited for an expired registration after a traffic stop at McClure Street and Whitney Avenue.

Michael C. Davis, 47, of Kewanee, was cited for no vehicle insurance after a traffic stop at Main and Lyle streets.
