Kewanee police blotter for July 4

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 300 block of Freedom Lane.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of East Second Street.

William S. Withrow, 58, Kewanee, was issued a citation for driving with a revoked driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Prospect Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of retail theft/shoplifting in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 300 block of South Tremont Street.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 700 block of East Fourth Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of East Eighth Street.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 600 block of East Fifth Street.

Patricia A. Labedis, 57, Kewanee, was cited for endangering the life or health of a child following a report of a juvenile complaint in the 700 block of Cambridge Road. She was given a notice to appear.

An animal at large was reported in the 700 block of South Vine Street.

A vehicle owned by Tyler Gudat, 27, Kewanee, was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene following a report of a hit and run accident in the 200 block of South East Street. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of South Grove Street.

Police responded to a report of the use/ explosion of fireworks in the 1400 block of North East Street.

Police responded to a report of the use/explosion of fireworks in the 1400 block of West Prospect Street.

Police responded to a report of the use/explosion of fireworks in the 200 block of South Park Street.

Police responded to a report of the use/explosion of fireworks in the 900 block of Elmwood Avenue.

A damage-only accident was reported in the 1000 block of North Main Street.

Taber Conover, 20, Kewanee, was cited for the unlawful launch of fireworks following a report of the use/explosion of fireworks at Northeast.

Police responded to a report of the use/explosion of fireworks at Fairview Home.

Police responded to a report of the use/explosion of fireworks in the 100 block of Payson Street.

Police responded to a report of the use/explosion of fireworks at Rockwell and Elliot streets.

A dog bite was reported in the 500 block of East Eleventh Street.
