Kewanee police blotter for July 23

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 600 block of East Fourth Street.

A hit and run accident involving a vehicle owned by Natalie J. Cone, 20, Kewanee, and an unknown vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Morton Avenue.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at Fairview Cemetery.

A traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Laura M. Nelson, 40, Altona, and a vehicle driven by Christopher L. Smith, 40, Kewanee, was reported at South and Tenney streets. No injuries were reported.

An animal at large was reported in the 800 block of Lake Street.

An animal was impounded in the 900 block of West South Street.

Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 100 block of West Hollis Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 300 block of Ridyard Avenue.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of East Eighth Street.

Police responded to a report of theft under $500 in the 1000 block of Western Avenue.

Joshua W. Moon, 33, Wyanet, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop at Lakeview Avenue and Rollins Street. He was given a notice to appear.
