Kewanee police blotter for Feb. 21

Police responded to a report to remove an unwanted subject in the 800 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at Cambridge Road and Golden Avenue.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at First and Tremont streets.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Dwight Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at Harrison and June streets.

Police responded to a report of criminal trespass to real property in the 1600 block of Burlington Avenue.

A domestic disturbance was reported at Division and Washington streets.

A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct following a report of aggravated assault in the 1200 block of East Third Street. He was given a juvenile referral.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 800 block of East Second Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of South Chestnut Street.

A 17-year-old female juvenile was arrested for possession of an electronic cigarette on school property following a report of a city ordinance violation in the 400 block of Willard Street. She was given a notice to appear.

A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Emily K. Stewart, 21, Kewanee, and Lakena D. Jones, 24, Kewanee, was reported in the 700 block of South Main Street. No injuries were reported. Jones was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and driving while license suspended. She was given notices to appear. She was also arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for retail theft, possession of liquor and no insurance. She posted bond.
