Kewanee police blotter for Feb. 17

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of West Third Street.

Police responded to a report of motor vehicle theft in the 400 block of East Ninth Street.

A damage-only traffic accident was reported in the 200 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Payson Street.

Nicklaus T. Smith, 24, Kewanee, was arrested for aggravated battery following a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 100 block of Hope Way. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Jeffrey A. McBride, 29, Wyoming, was arrested on a Whiteside County warrant for failure to appear for traffic offense; a Livingston County warrant for failure to appear for traffic offense and a Knox County warrant for failure to appear for possession of a stolen vehicle following a report of battery in the 1000 block of West South Street. No bond was posted. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 400 block of East Third Street.
