Kewanee police blotter for Dec. 26

Police responded to a report of a building burglary in the 700 block of North Elm Street.

Police responded to a report of a barking dog in the 700 block of East Second Street.

James L. Kammen, 48, Kewanee, was arrested for battery following a report of battery in the 600 block of East Church Street. He was given a notice to appear.

A damage-only traffic was reported in the 500 block of North East Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of East College Street.

Michael L. Johnston, 48, Kewanee, was arrested for violation of order of protection following a report to remove an unwanted subject in the 200 block of Community Square. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a report of motor vehicle theft in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Tenney Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop in the 100 block of South East Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North East Street.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Vine Street.

A written warning was issued following a traffic stop at Third and East streets.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 600 block of East Church Street.
