Kewanee police blotter for August 22

An animal at large was reported in the 800 block of Nelson Avenue.

Police responded to a report of battery in the 200 block of East Central Boulevard.

A damage-only traffic accident involving vehicles driven by a 16-year-old male and Russell C. Hughes, 72, Kewanee, was reported in the 1200 block of East Third Street. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Police responded to a report of a domestic animal bite in the 300 block of Rainbow Way.

Carlos F. Moran, 32, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery and a Stark County warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation following a complaint of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of East First Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 900 block of North Elm Street.

Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of West First Street.

A wildlife animal at large was reported in the 1000 block of North Main Street.

A 15-year-old male, a 12-year-old male and a 13-year-old female were arrested for residential burglary, criminal trespass to residence, criminal damage, and obstructing following a report of a residential burglary in the 600 block of Florence Street. They were given juvenile referrals.

Police issued a written warning following a traffic stop at Second Street and Stanton Court.

Dequan F. Robinson, 20, Kewanee, was cited for driving while license is suspended following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Lake Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Ashley J. Ostrowski, 38, Kewanee, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Cambridge Road. She was given a notice to appear.
