Kewanee police blotter for August 22

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 200 block of West Church Street.

James E. Lasenby, 21, Hobert, IN, was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at Loomis and Main streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Andrea N. Jones, 29, Kewanee, was issued a notice to appear for allowing a dog to run at large following a report of an animal at large in the 900 block of North Walnut Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property at First and Commercial streets.

An animal at large was reported in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

Police responded to a report of battery in the 600 block of East Church Street.

A traffic accident was reported at Tenth Street and Grace Avenue.

Police responded to a report of attempted scams in the 100 block of Houle Avenue.

A report was made of fraud in the 300 block of Tenney Street.

Police recieved a report of criminal trespass to residence in the 300 block of South Tremont Street.

A report of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment was made in the 600 block of Franklin Street.

Police responded to a damage-only traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Vincent A. Hicks, 18, Kewanee, which struck a parked unattended vehicle owned by Elizabeth M. Giesenhagen, 22, Kewanee, at First Street and Burr Boulevard. Hicks was transported to OSF St. Luke Hospital by Kewanee EMS and was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was given a notice to appear.
