Kewanee police blotter for August 15

Police responded to a report of arson, damage over $150 in the 300 block of North East Street.

Christopher B. Richardson, 19, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a complaint of a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Rose Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 700 block of West Prospect Street.

A damage-only traffic accident involving a vehicle driven by Glen R. Godke, 92, Kewanee, that struck a park vehicle owned by Tina L. Hollis, 51, Kewanee, was reported in the 700 block of Tenney Street. No injuries or citations were reported.

Jonathan E. Christian, 34, Kewanee, was arrested for a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, driving while license revoked, and cancelled/suspended registration following a report of a 9-1-1 open line in the 700 block of Tenney Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Orry J. Gunsallus, 33, Kewanee, was arrested for a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for felony possession or use of a weapon and aggravated assault or use of deadly weapon x2 following an in-state warrant in the 400 block of South Main Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal was impounded in the 200 block of Regina Court.

Police responded to a complaint of identity theft in the 400 block of East Third Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of East College Street.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South West Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 600 block of North Washington Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 600 block of North Chestnut Street.

Jared A. Gould, 18, Kewanee, was arrested for driving on suspended, speeding (40/25) and operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Main Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of retail theft in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 29800 block of North 900 Avenue.
