Kewanee police blotter for April 9

A 16-year-old male juvenile was issued a citation for speeding (46/30) following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Church Street.

Nathan L. Frank, 25, Kewanee, was issued a citation for expired registration following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Ninth Street.

Police responded to a report to remove an unwanted subject in the 900 block of North Walnut Street.

Police responded to a report of a city ordinance violation in the 600 block of North Lexington Avenue.

Theft over $500 was reported in the 200 block of East Third Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of Rainbow Way.

Police responded to a report of theft under $500 in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

An animal at large was reported in the 1800 block of Lake Street.

Police responded to a report of theft over $500 in the 600 block of South Beach Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 1600 block of Burlington Avenue.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 300 block of Payson Street.

Dallas R. Kuykendall, 28, Kewanee, was arrested for resisting/obstructing following a report to check residence at Oak and Vine streets. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

A hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of North East Street.

Melissa S. Rodriguez, 33, Kewanee, was issued citations for operating an uninsured vehicle and suspended registration for no insurance following a traffic stop at Second and Chestnut streets. She was given a notice to appear.

Samuel A. Helms, 26, Mendota, was cited for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 600 blocks of East Second Street. He was given a notice to appear.
