Kewanee police blotter for April 24

An animal was impounded in the 800 block of Columbus Avenue.

Megan B. Carter, 31, Kewanee, was arrested for a Bureau County warrant for failure to appear for DUI and a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of meth following a report of criminal trespass to real property in the 200 block of East Third Street. Jonathan E. Christian, 34, Kewanee, was arrested for a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of meth. Both were transported to the Henry County Jail.

Antonio J. Salazar, 25, Kewanee, was arrested for retail theft following a report of retail theft in the 700 block of Tenney Street. He was given a notice to appear.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Cole Street.

Police responded to a report of children playing in the street in the 300 block of East McClure Street.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 200 block of West Garfield Street.

A hit and run accident was reported in the 400 block of East Central Boulevard.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Willow Street.

Dashanee K. Thomas, 29, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of West Mill Street. She was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect in the 400 block of South Main Street.

An animal at large was reported at Eighth and Chestnut streets.
