Police responded to a theft complaint in the 200 block of NW 7th Avenue.
Police responded to a loose dog complaint in the 700 block of North Center Avenue. The owner was able to take the dog home.
Luke Rawlings, 42, Galva, was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of disorderly conduct following a response to a threats/disturbance complaint in the 900 Block of West Division Street. He was released with a required court date.
Oct. 14:
Police responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call in the 700 block of West Division Street. It was determined to be an accidental misdial.
Rachel Rawlings, 40, Galva, was arrested for criminal damage to state-supported-property and theft of utility services over $500 following a response to a theft complaint last week. She was released with a required court date.
Oct. 15:
A welfare check was conducted at a residence in the 1000 block of SW 2nd Street. The subject was fine.
Police spoke to a complainant at City Hall in reference to cannabis plants being seen at an overgrown and abandoned property. The officer cut down the plants and destroyed them.

Police responded to a suspicious person complaint after the complainant was followed and photographed by an unknown person at a residence on SW 2nd Avenue. The officer was not able to locate the suspect.
Police assisted Henry County with a single vehicle accident northeast of Galva.
Police conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of SW 2nd Street. The subject was fine.
Police assisted a citizen who wanted to report an earlier disturbance in the 100 block of NW 7th Avenue.

Police responded to an abandoned vehicle complaint in the 300 block of Commercial Street.
Jason Luedee, 52, Galva, was arrested for driving while his license was suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop in the 400 block of NE 2nd Avenue. He was released with a required court date.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 open line in the 800 block of NE 2nd Street. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
Police responded to a neighbor dispute in the 1000 block of SW 2nd Street.
Police conducted a welfare check at a residence on NW 3rd Street.
Oct. 17:
Police recovered an item of drug paraphernalia that was located in the 300 block of Market Street. It was disposed of.
Police provided traffic control while a subject loaded equipment in the 600 block of SW 2nd Street.
Police, along with Stark County Medic, responded to a report of an unresponsive subject at a residence on SE 2nd Street.
Oct. 18:
Police responded to a report of a loose horse in the roadway on Hayes Road west of town. The owner was located and took the animal home.
Police responded to a runaway juvenile in the 200 block of NW 7th Avenue. The subject was located on the roof and returned inside the residence.
An officer responded to a complaint involving a group of juveniles damaging property in the 300 block of NW 4th Street.
An officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 2nd Ave for a loose cat complaint. The officer was not able to locate it.
Police located a disabled vehicle in the 1000 block of North Center Avenue while patrolling. The officer stood by while it was loaded onto a trailer and removed.

Police responded to a burglary/criminal damage to property complaint in the 300 block of NW 4th Avenue. The situation remains under investigation.
Police responded to a vehicle vs an unknown animal in the 1000 block of North Center Avenue. Minor damage was noted.
Police conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of SW 2nd Street. The subject was fine.
Police responded to a telephone harassment complaint in the 400 block of SE 4th Street.
Police responded to a report of a subject lying in the ditch in the 00 block of SW 2nd Street. The officer was unable to locate anyone.
