Winter refused to release its chilly grip over the weekend, but it didn’t stop many families and kids from bundling up and turning out on Saturday, March 23, to the Kewanee Park District’s annual Easter Egg Hunt at Windmont Park.
While public participation dipped this year, no doubt because the temperature hovered in the mid 30s, there were plenty of eggs to go around and more than enough candy. And the Easter Bunny made an appearance, posing for photos with attendees. Here are a few photos of the egg hunt:
