The 2025 Galva Freedom Fest Planning Committee recently announced this year’s Freedom Fest Parade Grand Marshal is Dr. Kim Stevens of Stevens Veterinary Clinic.
According to a Freedom Fest Facebook post, Stevens is a lifelong Galva area resident and Galva High School graduate. She has had her own practice in Galva for 15 years and has been an active member of the Galva community during that time. As the owner of Stevens Veterinary Clinic her hard work is dedicated to ensuring the area’s animals are healthy and their owners happy.
Stevens is an active participant in the growth of Galva. She welcomes many veterinary students into her new facility to learn from her and her team on a regular basis. She is also an advocate for the importance of mental health, especially in the veterinary field.
The Freedom Fest parade will take place on July 4 at noon.
