State representative candidate for the 93rd District, Zoey Carter, is inviting the community to come out on Sunday, April 19, to help clean up Kewanee.
Carter’s campaign will be providing trash bags, buckets and gloves, along with refreshments. Downtown will be the focus and, if time allows, the effort will branch out from there.
The cleanup event is set for 2-4 p.m. to ensure individuals have plenty of time left of their day and volunteers are asked to meet up at The Kewanee Voice office at 121 N. Tremont St.
