‘Kooky Clairvoyant’ set to take the stage at Prairie Players Dinner Theatre

Prairie Players Dinner Theatre will open on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20 and 21 with the production of The Case of the Kooky Clairvoyant.

Written and directed by Kenny Knox, The Case of the Kooky Clairvoyant follows celebrity psychic Madam Babushka as she breezes into town to show off her supernatural abilities and promote her new cookbook, Baking with Babushka. During a séance, she warns her guests that one of them is in grave danger. But who? The washed-up actress, the college professor or the mysterious stranger?

Madam Babushka claims to “see all and tell all,” but does she truly know what is going on, or is something more unexpected unfolding? Audiences will discover the truth in this lighthearted, laughter-filled mystery.

The Prairie Players Civic Theatre is located at 160 S. Seminary St. in Galesburg. Doors open each evening at 6 p.m. and the fun starts at 6:30 p.m.
