Kewanee police blotter for March 5

Erin E. Vancil, 45, Kewanee, was arrested for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, resisting arrest with injury and criminal trespass after police were called to remove an unwanted subject from the 400 block of South Grove Street. Vancil was taken to the Henry County Jail.

A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Willow Street.

Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 600 block of Willow Street.

Police assisted a motorist at Main Street and McKinley Avenue.

A report of child abandonment, family-related, was made in the 300 block of Beach Avenue.

A civil complaint involving custody violations was made in the 400 block of East Third Street.

A traffic accident was reported in the 500 block of North Main Street.

Police were called to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Rainbow Way.

Theft under $500 was reported in the 400 block of United Lane.

Destiny L. Bindenagel, 26, Kewanee, was arrested for a violation of pretrial release conditions after police were called to the 1800 block of Lake Street for a report of a suicide/threat of self-harm. She was issued a notice to appear in court.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Freedom Lane.

Disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace was reported in the 600 block of East Church Street.

Darra L. Durant, 36, Kewanee, was arrested on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for allowing a dog to run at large after a traffic stop at East Street and Pleasant Avenue. There was no bond and she was taken to the Henry County Jail.
