The second annual “Enchanted Pumpkin Festival” was held on Saturday, October 21, and the gusty winds didn’t hamper the turnout. The downtown area bustled with festival goers.

The streets were lined with vendors and activities for the pumpkin festival, offering all kind of items for sale and crafts, from clothing to crystals to food and drink. Even the Henry County Humane Society held a booth with kittens ready for adoption. Activities for the kids included pumpkin painting and pony rides. Throughout the day, live performances by “The Incredible 45’s” and “Bell Field” filled the event with music. Following the festival was the “Trunk or Treat” event in the Good’s Furniture parking lot.

This year’s event was even bigger than last, so it was no wonder even more residents stopped by. Funds raised from the event will go towards constructing a local amphitheater.
